Tapsalteerie Cottage lies in the heart of the village of Cullipool and our front door overlooks the  Mountains of Mull.     The cottage was originally slate workers’ homes but has now been carefully  renovated and is comfortably furnished. 

The island is a peaceful haven, a place to relax and appreciate the unique charm that is Luing.    We hope you come to Cullipool and discover for yourselves the pleasure of a self-catering holiday in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. It is a perfect base  to explore this area of Scotland which is one of the most scenic with exceptionally good light in summer until late in the evening when you can experience our  Hebridean sunsets.  

The town of Oban is nearby and is the main seaport from which the Inner Hebridean islands of Mull, Iona, Staffa , Colonsay, Coll and Tiree  can be reached.     Oban has high quality, award-winning, seafood restaurants; unique, quality shops;  bookshops; galleries and all the usual supermarkets.
