Welcome to Tapsalteerie Cottage, Isle of Luing, Argyll one of the Inner Hebridean Islands ..

Set in the heart of a quiet village the cottage has a large secluded south- facing  garden in which you can relax and listen to the sounds of the sea, or the birds and bees that busy themselves in the garden.    The garden is sheltered and falls in terraces to the edge of a large inland water, formerly the quarry.  The garden and the island support an impressive array of bird-life and dolphins and otters can frequently be spotted round the coast.
The cottage sleeps 5/6 and comprises:

Ground Floor: lounge with wood-burning stove, double bedroom (king size bed) dining kitchen, bathroom with electric shower and a rear porch which is a comfortable and peaceful small sitting/dining area overlooking the garden and out to sea towards the Island of Scarba. 

Upstairs there is one double bedroom and one single bedroom with an occasional sofa-bed.  These are reached by a narrow fixed staircase.

The kitchen is well equipped and has a four-burner gas cooker, grill and oven; washing machine; fridge and freezer.  The lounge has a Stereo/CD player. There is no television. Heating throughout is by storage heaters
